With our wide array of services and products, we're finding our way into lots of communities – communities that we're proud to be part of and help local organizations with their events and important causes. Helping to be part of healthy and happy communities is very important to us. Below are just a few of the organizations we've helped with projects and events:
Clearview Girls Hockey Association
In December, Farrow AV was pleased to be part of the Clearview Girls Hockey Association's 12th Annual Christmas in the Valley Tournament. The tournament was a couple of days of fun for players, families, and Farrow AV!
Huronia Hockey Tournament
In late 2009, Farrow AV was the co-sponsor of the 34th Annual Huronia Hockey Tournament. What a great way to meet people in the community and build awareness of our new company and to support the community!
Alpine Ontario
Farrow AV is a proud supporter of Alpine Ontario, which is the provincial governing body for Alpine Ski Racing in Ontario. For the 2009-2010 season we supported the organization with a fundraiser targeted at ski clubs in the province. Farrow AV donated a TV for a raffle which allowed the AOA to raise funds for the organization and gave Farrow AV some very important exposure, which turned into requests for our services and expertise. Collingwood United Soccer Club
We proudly support our local soccer club, which is an outstanding organization promoting active youth and adult teams. Farrow AV specifically sponsors the adult House League Soccer Team with branded uniforms.
The Collingwood Jazz & Blues Society
Starting June 23 and running until August 25, Farrow AV is happy to help bring some New Orleans grassroots music to the Collingwood area. Farrow AV is sponsoring 10 weekly concerts throughout the summer during the Collingwood Jazz & Blues Society's Jazz at the Station Festival. This outdoor series of concerts draws hundreds of music lovers from across Ontario and around the world – it's one not to be missed! Farrow AV will have a booth set up at each of the weekly concerts – be sure to stop by and see us and learn whatÕs new for audio-visual systems! Visit the website.
Collingwood General & Marine Hospital
Our local hospital is dedicated to providing the community with exceptional patient care. We recently donated a Revo Radio to the Peak FM Radio station, which was organizing a fundraising draw for the hospital. The Revo Radio was one of many prizes donated by a variety of companies to help the radio station raise lots of much needed cash for the hospital.
Movies Under the Stars at Blue Mountain
Join us at the movies! We're working on a joint venture with Peak FM to sponsor Movies Under the Stars for the Village at Blue Mountain. This family-oriented event runs from June 4 to September 3 on Friday nights and features today's latest releases and classic movies under the stars. Movie nights are real nights out with lots of interactive activities for all ages. Visit the website.
The Collingwood Chamber of Commerce
Farrow AV proudly became a member of the Collingwood Chamber of Commerce in February 2010.
